Managing Partner
Marek Woźniak
Specifics instead of promises
Marek Woźniak has been involved in finance for 19 years. At Capital and Logic, he makes sure every Excel table tells the truth. He is not interested in pretty presentations, only in the real state of the client's bank account. Since September 2017, he has led 217 companies through the difficult process of financial repair. He works fast because he knows that with high debt, time is an entrepreneur's greatest enemy.
Why do we calculate with cold logic?
In business, emotions are a bad advisor, especially when the bailiff sends the first letters. Marek starts with a hard analysis of the facts. He checks invoices, loan agreements, and fixed costs. If he sees that a business cannot be saved, he says it straight to the client's face at the first meeting. Zero fluff, just facts – that's his principle, which he has adhered to since starting work in Gdańsk.
One of his projects from March 2024 concerned a transport firm from Gdynia. They had 1,430,000 PLN in debt and only 11 days left until the machinery auction. Marek negotiated new repayment terms in exactly 9 business days. He reduced the monthly installment by 34.7%, allowing the company to breathe again. It wasn't magic, just mathematics and tough talks with creditors. Marek is not afraid of hard questions from bankers.
We have a plan for Tuesday
For Marek, every problem has an expiration date. He doesn't leave matters for later. If you send a request on Monday, you have a preliminary rescue outline on your desk by 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Every hour separating a company from an account block counts. He often repeats that debt is not a life sentence, as long as you start acting before the situation becomes critical. He knows how to remove those blocks in accordance with the law.
He can be harsh in assessments because he points out mistakes in cash management. But he does it so you don't have to close the company you've built for years. Marek believes that logic always wins over capital if only you know how to apply it properly in negotiations. He doesn't look for culprits; he looks for a way out of the financial hole. To be honest, sometimes changing a few figures in the budget is enough to avoid bankruptcy.
P.S. Marek personally supervises every restructuring plan that leaves our office on Długa Street.
